Star Hotel, London

Staying at the hotel located in Hammersmith was a cozy experience, with a room upgrade due to renovation works. The location was ideal, close to Tesco and the Hammersmith station, making it convenient for our visit. The dining options were basic but satisfactory, and the service was efficient. However, the room location at the back of the hotel might not be ideal for some.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. On the positive side, the mirror with lights in the single room was a nice touch, but the rooms did suffer quite a bit from road noise and were quite small altogether. The service, offered by housekeeping, was decent, though there were some areas for improvement. The location is convenient for accessing various parts of London, but the distance to the underground station can be a drawback. The dining options varied, with a good continental buffet available, but the choices were somewhat basic. The hotel facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.

The hotel is in a vibrant area with plenty of pubs and food options nearby. The rooms may be a bit noisy due to their street-facing position and are on the smaller side, requiring closed windows at night. Despite that, the location is superb, especially for easy access to public transportation such as Hammersmith Tube and Heathrow airport.
